'Our vision and drive is to provide professional dance instructions, bringing together a community to share opportunities to meet new friends, socialise, enjoy and have fun in a safe and relaxing atmosphere.'
Hello and welcome to our website
We are sister-in-laws Mandy and Sharon Eades who started dancing for fun and socialising in our teens to different genres including disco, latin, ballroom and jive.
We continued to enjoy and have fun with dance, on and off, throughout our working life. Mandy has been working in Further Education Colleges and Offender Learning, teaching ICT & Business. Sharon has been working in Accountancy in two of the top retail industries.
Collectively we have twenty years' experience of line dancing including modern and country and western. We are both fully qualified line dance instructors through Best Western Dance Academy (BWDA) and also have our Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) formally CRB check.
We joined a line dance class in 2009 and enjoyed it so much we decided to start our own class. Not long after we began teaching our teacher asked if we would like to take over her class, which we jumped at the chance to broaden our horizon. We run three dance classes per week.
Our partnership was founded in April 2015 to bring together people of every background and all ages to have fun, talk and organise workshops, social evenings & charity events with each other. We have provided an exceptional service and made a positive contribution to the community since July 2015.
We have attended national line dance workshops and regularly collaborate with other line dance instructors to learn new dances and styles to provide you with the best possible experience in your community.
We have been fully committed to positively working hard to raise funds for two Bath based charities by hosting two popular afternoon dances. All of the proceeds were split between both charities: Dorothy House and RICE ‘Dementia Plus’ raising £1,005.39 in 2016 and £1,099.51 in 2018. This has helped towards providing local individuals and families in need with assistance and critical services.
We run an evening class every Wednesday Beacon Hall Peasedown St John, in the local community hall.
We have secured two rooms at a brand new community centre (January 2019) at The Hub Mulberry Way Mulberry Park Combe Down Bath BA2 5BU and looking forward to running two evening classes Monday and Thursday.
We have organised Saturday workshops with top international choreographers and monthly socials (Friday) to take place at St Philip's and St James' Church 35 Frome Road Odd Down Bath BA2 2QF during 2019.
We are a fun line dancing team with a modern approach on a classic dance. The steps are all set to modern or country music which makes this classic style ready for any generation.
Join us with a group of friends in our regular classes or book private lessons. We are always happy to welcome new members to our group.
Drop in and see us – we would love to meet you!
